As I said previously, Commenity has ignored my efforts to put to rights a difficulty I had with Bealls here in Florida.  I pay every bill I receive as soon as it arrives.  I am A millionaire.  I pay off my Visa bill in full as soon as it arrives (usually @ 1000-3000 per month)!  My husband and I each have credit cards for Bealls Department store in Lady Lake, Florida.  Unfortunately, I did not realize that we have two different account numbers.  I was paying the bill but it went to the wrong account.  My bad!  I tried to contact Commenity but there was no reply.  I wrote three letters and called to no avail!  Now they have pretty much ruined my credit rating and I am really angry about that!  I hope you can be of assistance in this matter,

Keep digging....

AUTHOR: Robert - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, July 08, 2015

Might as well keep digging because every time you post you dig yourself a bit of a deeper hole.

If you were not even home during this time, why would you pay the bill "as soon as it arrives"?  Does your bill follow you around?

Also, if it is as you say that you paid the wrong account.  Then while one account would be delinquent..one account would have a significant credit balance because of all of the overpayments...right?

You then state that you hate the insinuation that there was more to the story...yet you preface that by saying we don't know what was going on in your life during that time.  So yes there apparently is more to this story.

Commenity is Wrong!

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, July 08, 2015

You, Commenity, do not know what was happening in my life during the period you mention.  We were not even at home for much of that time.  I resent your insinuation that there "is more to the story".  We pay all of our bills on time and to the dime.  Apparently it is Commenity  who is in the wrong this time.  Why don't you take it on the chin and admit it?

An objective view

Creditors report late payments after they are late by more than 30-days. Since you pay every bill “as soon as it arrives” then you quickly paid the past due amount when you received the late notice about 20-days after it was due. If you paid after 30-days, the single late payment reported to the credit bureaus would not ruin your credit rating.

You did not respond either!

Your response only insures my belief that I no longer want to deal with any company tied to Commenity.

We currently own three homes (paid for), pay off our Visa in full each month, have three cars (paid for).

Now why would I not pay a Bealls bill?  I do not shy away from my financial obligations!  It is ridiculous to think so!  This was a matter that I assumed (stupid me) would be discovered and taken care of but apparently Bealls doesn't have that sort of financial genius around so they gave it to you.

Your methods are appalling and I have checked  you out.  WOW!  You are to be commended for your unfailing determination to ruin someone.  I expect a reply in nice terms from you asap.

Just A Question Or Two

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

Since you say you were sending in payments but those payments were being credited to the WRONG account, what about the late notices you were receiving and the past due charges you were receiving on the RIGHT account?  If we are to take everything you are saying as gospel truth, then you weren't even reading your statements...you weren't responding to overdue notices and you weren't responding/ignoring collections calls.  I highly suspect there's more to this story!
