Completely Floored was prepaid monies for renovation work on our investment home.  The reason we went with them is because we knew Alan Hatmaker (partner) who did good work for us on a prior job.   Steve Cagney was the other partner.  Steve indicated that he wanted to be the project manager so we thought that this was great.  Apparently, we prepaid them on a weekly basis for material and labor.  What we found out was that Completely Floored subcontracted the drywall and electrical.

Steve indicated there was an issue with a load bearing wall and he huff and puffed and made a big stink about having to go to his general contractor to get advice.  Apparently, Steve does not have the experience to understand what do, so it cost me additional monies on top of it.  In addition, he hired out a drywall company to install drywall. He over bought 44 sheets of 8 x12’ drywall and returned them to the seller.  He never credited us for it.  In addition, the drywall company did a terrible job and Steve wanted us to pay for it.  We did after they were fired we hired on another contracting company.  In addition, Steve hired an electrician to come to rewire the house.  So far, several outlets are not working and some of the electrical work was not done up to code.  We have prepaid Completely Floored for everything including $12,000 in labor costs to finish of the job of painting, apply trim, installing cabinets, tiling and all.  All Steve did was complain and he told us to trust him.   Just before they were fired, the air conditioning wires were ripped out.  I cannot attest to whether or not they did it, but, they were the only ones to have the lockbox information for entering the house.

Completely Floored is not a licensed contractor in the State of Florida.  They are a shyster company.  They are scam artist and are totally dishonest.  I personally do not recommend doing business with this company.
