Conseco Finance rip-off will it ever end? I don't think so money grubbers Duluth Georgia

My husband and I and 4 kids lost everything we owned during a hurricane "FRAN" in Sept 1996, we took money from our insurance and bought a piece of land, put down well, septic and driveway.... went to a mobile home dealership picked out a home, ordered it, with our specifications, colors carpet etc... we financed with Greentree at one interest rate with our pymts being only 358 on the home, and 220 on the land... we financed $49,617.14,

we had some slow pays because in dec 1997 my son who was 7 years old was diagnoised with acute myleocytic leukemia, the childrens cancer society paid 2 payments for us, which when dealing with a 3rd party of course they were still late, but paid nevertheless. during that time greentree sold out to consceo finance, what a bunch of non feeling incompassionate jerks!!!

well of course our credit sucks now and after one year of the 358.00 amt we get a letter stating that our pymts were being raised to $558.oo per month, we asked why, but we were told that it was in the contract, well come to find out the salesman who sold us the home, forged a document stating that our payments would increase in a years time, well thats a different story in itself, because right after that they changed hands because they declared bankruptcy..

but here is the deal... our orginal amt finanved was the $49,617.14, and now here it is now going on 7 years later and our payoff is now $49,477.61!!!!! How the hell is that possible?? oh we did get our pymts reduced because we canceeled their insurance on the home and got a policy with our own insurance company.

so now our pymts are $456.82 per month, but the amt just doesn't seem to go down at all. My husband and i had to resort to me moving to Cary NC while he remains in the peice of crap they call a home, that even the heat doesn't work but in 3 rooms of a 10 room house it was suppose to be a 28X80 but guess what? It is a 24 by 72, strange right? we think so.

Why is it that people who have less credit standing, and lower income, they make the interest so d**n high? when if they gave a reasonable rate and payment we wouldn't have such a hard time in making the pymnts on time every time!!! And when you call them? OH MY GOD!!! They treat you like a peice of crap, like you are not worthy to breathe the same air they breathe, its as if because they know you financed with them to begin with, you must not have much, so u r nothing to them but a # and all they want from you is your money, and are not willinmg to give you their time, or any special considerations, and if you are lucky enough to get a payment defferred, then WATCH OUT!!! you have just sold your soul to the devil themselves..

I wish they would go bankrupt and those idiots put out of work.. I lease apartments every day for a living, and i have never treated anyone the way they treat people. My people are happy and content, and if they need something, i provide it for them. they are not just a #, they are the reason i have a job, and maybe they should take on this mentaltity... well if anyone has any suggestions at how i can find another lender at a better rate plase let me know cause i would love to not write them one more check!!!
