CONSECO FINANCE ripoff deceptive company, dishonest billing Federal Way Washington

Things were fine in the rental...decided to browse the Veterans page to see about Student Loan help. Couldn't get help with that but I qualified for a Veterans Housing Loan...that got the ball rolling. Checked out some Manufactured Homes and eventually found one that was built nice...it was a 6-month old repo but with real walls (not paneling) and built solid. VHA doesn't finance on Manufactured Homes so we went with who did...CONSECO.

Wife does daycare and I'm a professional...lost some day-care kids...money became tight and we called for a rate modification. Within the 12 months of the RM we never paid the same amount on our mortgage.

Made a payment in June...always consistently paid on time...had to file Bankruptcy but kept the house...the following October I make a payment over the phone and then the rep say's that my next payment is due the following day. Puzzled I asked what the heck he was talking about...it seems that my June payment was only a partial payment as they took 300 some odd dollars to apply for partial year property taxes they claim they were billed. I contacte the tax assessor in my county who told me my home had not been assessed for taxes yet.

Round and round we went...no one can produce an invoice. I said if I owe the taxes...great...don't take the taxes without showing me proof that you paid them and then inform me I'm behind as a result 5-months later.

Then...to make up I paid, what I thought was an extra 100 for 5-6 months...in reality...I'm told that my mortgage is 497...but then there is 35 dollars for this...30 dollars for that...25 dollars for this other thing...so as I'm thinking that I'm making up for a tax payment that no one can prove was even paid on my behalf...I'm really paying the monthly amount...next thing you know I get a certified letter telling me they are going to foreclose on my houes.

The funny thing is...this happened (the certified letter) right about the time I found someone that will refinance us at a very affordable interest rate and I contacted CONSECO for a detailed payment history. I never got the payment history...I needed to prove that I had made 18 consecutive payments...I've called them over and over with no results.
