Please do not stop your payments to Conseco. They will repo it, sell it for pennies on the dollar, add attorneys fees, late charges, daily interest charges, etc. After all is said and done they will sue you for the remaining balance. Your credit will be shot!

They will clean out your checking account. They will garnish your wages. They will do anything to make your life a living hell!

If possible try and buy a piece of land to put your mobile home on and try to get a regular lender to refinance you.

The problem is what you owe on your mobile home may be to much to be able to refinance. Make sure you make your payment every month on the same thirty day schedule. That is one problem if you can not walk in to make the payment. It appears that your payment can sit in their mail room until you passed the thirty day so they can add their so called simple interest rate. Do not allow them to take it from your electronic checking account. Once you do the night mare will begin!

It is very hard to fight the "system" The goverment departments that are supposed to protect our rights seems to be turning a blind eye. Big business seems to be getting the protection not us.

I too would be willing to join a class action lawsuit against Conseco. The problem is the lawyer! Before I would hire this lawyer it would have to be on a contingency fee. The other problem is now that Conseco has filed bankruptcy they are under protection! We need to pressure the goverment departments to do their job. The Department of Finance and Department of Justice should be the ones to file this class action for us. Send your complaints to them. I am! Remember there is more power in numbers. People like us keeping the pressure on them to do their jobs.
