Conseco/Greentree Ripoff Artists, Phone Ripoff Artists, No Communication with customers, Illegal and unfriendly business, Not Dilligent with paperwork and titles Rapid City South Dakota

ON 1/10/3 I put in paperwork through my stepfather to get the title of a trailer out of my name and entirely into his, they updated the title to show his name but town hall had not been updated.

Sounds easy to fix, wrong. My mom passed away, my stepdad took off and he had told me he gave up with Conseco as he could never get the paperwork he needed back from them so he could never get my name out of the trailor. I am now getting his taxes and I just can't afford it.

I had called them and they were not helpful but said they would call back, called them back after calling them and I was told it was assigned to someone named Danielle and I called her and Never got any response at all!! I then sent an email, the email said they will take a look and I will get a response in writing in less than six weeks! I did, it said they can't help me!!

So instead of my Stepdad selling the trailer, he lost everything, everything was put in a dumpster and it was locked up. Now there is a for sale sign in it saying Greentree is selling it! Well, since the Deed is still in my name in Town Hall, I find this all very unbelievable, I just want my name off the property as my stepdad made the payments.

I was able to get Greentree to give me a TOE stating that the town hall will be able to see I am no longer financially responsible but my stepdad is, the town clerk laughed at me on the phone and said I did not know what I was talking about and to get a lawyer to fix it!!
So my mom passed away and the trailer was bought for her to live in as they did not have good credit I put my name on it. Put 4000.00 on an empty credit card and let them move in, she passed away seven years later, my stepdad did not pay all that amount, was not able to pay all the funeral costs, was not able to pay his own taxes and mortgage. I paid 4000.00 more for her tombstone. I took a loss of at least 2000.00 on the downpayment, not including interest on the card. I am now looking at having to pay taxes for a place that I don't live in, nor never have lived in? Just some advice to someone younger or i the same position as me, don't let family ruin your life. I would do anything for my mom but I did not realize what a loser my stepdad could be, he walked away from the whole thing!!!! He has a new girlfriend who is unfriendly and has helped to spend all of my mom's insurance money.

With my mom's unexpected passing, Greentree did not help, and still is not helping, I have had it with them, I have had with my stepfather. All I wanted was to get the information that should have been updated in the first place in town hall fixed, town hall did not help, my stepdad did not help. Greentree was told of the situation and the little info they did give me was meaningless or there behavoir was evasive. Now the trailer is a complete loss for profit. My mom and stepdad were in there for almost 8 years and now not one thing to show for it, and I am still getting billed for the mistakes of this company. When will it ever stop, this Company is not a good one to do business with. Never in hell would I ever wnat to do business with them again, EVER. Thanks for reading this.
