I got sucked into trusting Consumer Cellular through the AAPR literature! In the first month, they charged me double..without my permission or knowledge. It went from $35 to $65/ mo, accoring to thier claims,I was over on my data usage. So ok, I paid the 65, and said ok, now back to 35. They refused even though my data useage is very low due to wifi in my home. They are holding my telephone and my number hostage until I pay $111 !!
I knew there was a problem when they started charging me day 1, before I received my sim card in the mail. I had no service, but they charged the time against me anyway...J E R K S!!
This is major bull crap! Stay far, far away! Net10 online has $20/mo unlimited text/talk with 1 MB. Only online deal, not in stores!

You weren't clear as to whether or not you rewarded these SLIMEBALLS with a purchase. I hope you didn't! In addition to what FRAUDS and DECEPTIONS they pulled on you, they would have included a $900 BOGUS, ADD-ON, PHONY FEE. Here's how this scam works: Slimeballs like this who have ZERO honesty and ZERO integrity LIE about the price of the car and then make up the difference with a BOGUS FEE. It is an official sounding fee, so designed to aid in the DECEPTION! They tell you this in their website and that tells you they have ZERO hesitation lying to you or playing other games of deception! Yes, they are as you described...another typical example of the Sleazy American Car Business!

I recommend GenMobile. I have it for my wife and I. Hers is 300 mins talk, unlimited text text and 1 MB data for $10/month. Mine is unlimited talk and text and 1MB data for $15/month
