Consumer First sent me a great offer for a $5,000.00 limit credit card. I didn't recall filling out anything with that bank name/company, so I went looking for them online.
Imagine my surprise when my inquiries lead me to the Rip-Off Report pages!
After reading several of the letters posted here, I went looking for the Better Business Bureau in Tampa, FL. (the BBB is listd under county name Hillsborough, business is Consumer First, LLC)
Consumer First IS a legitimate company, and they DO issue credit cards. Those credit cards are for their merchandise only, though, and that is where the deception comes in. The reason I say deception is because they do not mention anything about buying 'select merchandise' or 'for use in selected stores' along with the $5,000.00 credit line and 'already approved' attention-grabbing lines.

I am by no means agreeing with the tacktics of
this company, however i myself recieved this
same offer. You must read it very carefully.
then you will see that in the third parragraph
down, it reads as follows (You may use your platinum card immediately upon receipt for all purchases from credit provider) Now do you see
it says ( Purchases from credit provider.)
