I received a call about this insurance...I spoke to a guy over the phone for over an hour...I kept on asking about the program and if he could e-mail me something so I can see what the offer is...after going over alot of information, like that it was an 80/20 insurance and that I would have to pay 20% I finally decided to do this...I then asked him if my doctors were in the network and he actually looked them up and both were in the network...
He then said that I had to answer questions and that I could only answer them the way he told me too...I was a little skeptical again and when I answered them, I answered them differently and he actually got on the phone and told me not to say that, to say only what he says...
I then received the information in the mail and I started to read it and I made a doctor appointment. When I went to the doctor, I had to pay 80 % of his actual office visit...
This program is a discount program, not an insurance...
I was fired over a year ago from my job of 17 years (by no fault of mine) and lost my insurance...I had just found out a year before that I had Multiple sclerosis...so medical insurance is very inportant to me...I called this company after my doctor visit and I was on hold for about a half hour beofre I hung up...I then tried to get on to the website and that didn't work either. On February 7 2009, I went into the website after leaving a message to cancel this, I went into the website and sent them a cancelation on their information page...I then received a call back on Monday morning with a number to contact to talk to someone...I talked to this woman that said that I now have to pay for my February payment because the cancellation was too late...they never received it and they just took the money out of my account...I am going to the bank to get my money back but I now would like to try to get my enrollment fee back...
