The guy that called me got me in trouble because he called so many times. I had to tell your employee 3 times to stop calling my work phone or I was gonna repot you guys.

"And It's Wailing Time Again!"

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, December 07, 2015

Because of your documented track record of NOT paying your bills on time, no bank wanted to do business with you! Therefore, you were placed with a subprime deadbeat lender. That doesn't even register with you, does it because you are STILL not paying your bills on time! Those calls are from their bill collectors who wouldn't be calling you if you had paid on time! Of course, it's all THEIR fault, isn't it? It's the wailing of still another serial deadbeat!!!

It is amazing....

It is amazing and always interesting how the more of a "deadbeat" someone is the more law they "think" they know.  Oh yea and the more law they want to ignore.

Contrary to your thinking there is no law that says a company can't call your workplace.  But you know what, prove me wrong.  Why not post the EXACT law that makes it illegal for them to call your work.  But as a bit of a hint.  If you start to cite something like the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act(FDCPA), realize that applies to 3rd party collection agencies ONLY.  CPS is considered an Original Creditor and the FDCPA does not apply.  Next...

But let's look a bit more into this.  Why are they calling you?  Is it to just say "hi"?  NO.  They are calling you because you have failed to meet your contractural obligations.  You remember that legal contract you signed when you got the car that said you make a legal promise to make set payments at set times for a specific amount of time.  Now, you will probably come up with 1001 reasons why you didn't and how they aren't "helping" you.  But the fact remains that there is nothing in the loan agreement that says they must.

Oh and one final thing.  If you continue to fail to make the payments as you agreed to, they will take the next legal step and reposess your car.  But when they do, you are still legally responsible for the remaining balance of the loan even if you no longer have the car.
