Consumer Research Corporation ripoff, information, consumer, research, free camera, bmg, columbia, www.producttestpanel.com Columbia, South Carolina,

I received an email from these jokers. Did a quick Google on their company name and found this site. I like what this site has to offer for the innocent consumers (all of us).

I went a step further and went to http://www.bbb.org and typed in their company name and found out where they are based from. There are 3 companies with that name. One is a member of the Better Business Bureau and has sent them a letter stating that they are not affiliated with this company and gives an address.

Here is the info:

"The Consumer Research Corporation of Minneapolis, Minnesota has sent the Bureau a letter stating they have absolutely no association with or responsibility for the website www.producttestpanel.com. They state they are not sponsors of the sight and have no connection with the sponsors. They claim the sponsor is a South Carolina registered company with the same name as Consumer Research Corporation, and the website in question is also registered to a South Carolina company. A search through The South Carolina Secretary Of State shows the registered agent for the website is Jeffrey French, 38030 Forest Dr. Columbia, South Carolina, 29204. 8/26/2004"
