It was the first time for us to buy a car via auction on the internet. One of our girls was going to college and needed a car for school. We found out from a friend that auctions can be cheap and we might find a good car.

We completed the sale and process the car via internet. On the advertisement it clearly stated that the car runs. The car came from Texas to California via a shipping company that we had hired. They did not test run the car. They only placed it on a flatbed truck and brought us the car.

The car does not work; we took the car to three different mechanics that all confirmed that the car needs a new engine. We contacted COPART and they only told us, "All sales are final and car was sold as is", meaning they advertised the car as working and because the contract said sold as is, they take no responsibility. Now, we are stock with a 12,000-thousand-dollar car and does not work and my girl had no car to use for school.

I am looking for more people that COPART has rip-off to create a law suit against them. A lawyer will cost me around $2000 only to take my case. I do not have that money and they are ripping me off. Please advise or help me!
