Copeland Marketing Corporation fraudulent respresentation of timeshare resales Daytona Beach Florida

May of 2006 was contacted by Copeland Marketing Corp. regarding resale of my timeshare property. They contacted me by telephone asked if I was interested.

I struggled with their request for money upfront, but a month later June of 2006, I allowed them to debit my credit card in the amount of $400. Shortly thereafter, they called and reported that they had shown the property and had a few people look at it.

A few weeks later, they reported that they had again shown the property and a possible contract was expected. We never heard from them after that.At this time, they also asked if I would lower the asking price.

Several attempts to call them resulted in no contact. We also tried to access their website to see if my property was infact listed with them.

As of this date, no further information via telephone or website has been possible.
