 I ordered a trial of 2 different lotions from Core Skincare which I only had to pay shipping & handling. I made sure that I did not sign up for auto ship as I have been tricked with this before. I received 2 phone calls that week trying to sell me more products (vitamin c serum for one). I said no I did not want it & they referenced a subscription & I said I didn't sign up for auto ship & wanted nothing more. I got the samples, they are fine (except I can't use one because of a gluten ingredient I didn't expect). Well, 2 months later I got an email that my next shipment is on its way. $91.94/each, cc charged. I called customer service right away to say I did not sign up for this & that I would send back the lotion & send back the products.

The customer service rep told me there was no way I did not sign up for auto ship because that is not possible when you order. She said when I checked the box that said I was over 18 years old I agreed to the terms. After pleading my case she offered me a 35% refund (of $183) & to cancel my subscription. I said I wanted to send back the products & get a full refund. She said not possible & there was nobody else I could speak with (like a manager) I said I would register a complaint & she told me if I did my refund would be charged back to my cc. Well, I got really upset after that threat & told her how slimy that is & she said she'd see what she can do, put me on hold while she spoke with her manager. She came back with a 50% refund which I agreed to but that is still a $91 charge to my cc for products I do not want at all. I guess it's the old bait & switch. I thought I was super careful but they got me.
