CORECOM Told to cancel their services but continue to take money out of my checking account Williamsville New York

In late December I signed up with Corecom to provide internet services. I just bought a computer (first) and was new to the internet. I was unaware that the dial up services were extremely slow and once I found out I called Corecom two days later and tried to cancel their services. The lady representative that I talked to stated that i have to write a letter to corecom to cancel their services. She also stated that I would still be charged with the initial sign up and the first months payment. I agreed to that because I figured it was my ignorance that was at fault.

On 01-04-2008 I mailed the required letter and in that letter stated that I no longer wanted their services and wanted them to cancel their services immediately. I gave them the client #303784976 that was provided by the lady representative when I first made the cancelation request.

The problem I am facing is that Corecom has continued to withdraw $15.95 from my checking account on the 15th of every month and continues to do so. In August or September of 2008 I sent an e-mail to corecom and again told them to stop making withdrawals from my account. NOTE: I tried to stop the withdrawal via my bank but they told me that once I give them access to my account I have to have Corecom discontinue it on their end.

As of 09-15-2008 they have again taken out the $15.95 for services I do not use, ask them to stop, and do not have their system on my computer.

I have nowhere else to turn. they are abusing the public. They are stealing from me and i would like it to stop immediately. If there is a way to be compensated for the money they have already taken i would like that very much. If there is a class action lawsuite against them i would like my name added to the, what must be a long list, immediately.
