I placed a Halloween costume order for my family to this company on 9/28/2009. I paid an extra $14.99 for expedited 2-4 day shipping. As of today, 10/7/2009, I have not recieved my order, or any response to the numerous emails that I have sent and messages I have left.

The Costumeselection.com website encourages consumers to contact them with questions, providing a toll-free number and an e-mail form to their "customer service team". When you call, you are prompted to leave a message that never gets returned. E-mails get ignored as well. I lost almost $200 to this fraudulent company.

I went online to BBB.com to file a complaint, and found 8 other open cases against them. This information is staggering, and unfortunately, I found it too late.

I hope that this information helps prevent more people from getting conned as I did, and that the ringleader of that freakshow gets busted. Karma is a b***h. He charged my credit card the day after I placed my order: $194.85.

So the day after I posted my original ripoff report, I get an e-mail from CostumeSelection.com stating that my order was being shipped. Of course, by this time, I had placed an order for the items I needed from another Halloween supply company. To make a long story short, they actually have been quite prompt about communication once initial contact was made, and provided me with a full refund.
