When I was employed at Country Hill Motors I got to see first-hand just how crummy used car dealerships could be. They claim in their adds that they don't sell cars from auctions but that is only because they have other dealers get the cars. The owner does go out to the auctions but has other dealers take the cars and then they get the cars from those dealers so it doesn,t look like they sell auction cars. When I was employed there my job was to go pick-up these cars from various dealers We would bring them back, detail them, and stick'em on the lot without anybody looking for any problems.
Although they claim that they inspect and service all cars before putting them for sell. HA-HA-HA!! They only cover-up things that are noticable, like check engine lights. Instead of fixing the acctual problem the just hook up the diagnostics reader, go into the computer,and shut it off in the cars computer so it stays off just long enough to get someone to buy.
Country Hill Motors is definetally the type of dealership that relly shows how low people will go for money, no matter who they have to step on to get it or who gets hurt by there scams. It is really sad to see some low income family come in because of the promise of a great deal and just be completely scammed ecspecially when the car dosen't run in a matter of months or weeks then BAM!! Right back down to nothing without a thing they can do

Fraudulent Report

After reading this report, we have determined that it is fraudulent. This report was not written by a past employee, however, by a competitor trying to use tactics to hurt our business. We have worked for 28 years to provide an environment that promotes happy customer and happy employees, and we have done so by fully inspecting and servicing all of our vehicles and removing those that do not pass our service guidelines. Danny talks about how Wilson never worked there but look at his last name.  It isn't even spelled correctly.  On the Better Bureau site it says Danny Laslavsky and his title is not Director of Operations.  Also, the Owner is listed as John Laslavsky.  Surely the BBB didn't get both their names wrong.

Another thing that seems odd to me is the generic email.  Why would the Director of Operations have such a generic email address?  countryhillmotors@gmail.com??  Most company use their names and their website as a contact. (ex. jlaslavsky@countryhillmotors.com) The generic email makes me wonder if it is just a general email box that managers get into and reply to complaints.

I, too, just bought a vehicle (Dec. 2011) at Country Hill Motors in Olathe and am having problems.  I'm getting some BS stories right now.  When it all gets resolved (hoping that it will), I will post again and let you know what happened.

Country Hill Motors Inc, a family owned business, has been selling fine used cars since 1984. We recognize that in today's economy, it is even more important to provide great products, at a great price. It is unfortunate and disheartening that the gentleman in the submission chose to write such inaccuracies about Country Hill Motors. He calls himself Mr. Wilson.

We feel that Mr. Wilson has never been an employee of Country Hill Motors, but in fact is a local competitor. The following reasons validate our claim. Country Hill Motors Inc. does not employ personal for the purpose of pick-up and delivery of vehicles. Pick-up of inventory is done by a combination of management efforts; sales associate efforts, and outside licensed and bonded delivery companies. Country Hill Motors service policy is all vehicles come completely serviced and with a warranty. As long as the customer owns the vehicle, Country Hill Motors agrees to service the vehicle at shop cost. We feel this is extremely important to provide the customer with a level of service they expect. This is also in part, why Country Hill Motors has earned the endorsement by Dave Ramsey who says, "I have finally found a dealership I can trust." We have two fully equipped service facilities, and a third currently under construction. Recently, Country Hill Motors also added a loner car program at no cost to all of its customers during a service visit. Being family owned, our dedication to hard work, scrutinizing inventory, and providing top-notch customer service are the reasons we have been able to succeed in today's challenging marketplace. The Better Business Bureau has given Country Hill Motors an A + Rating for not only these reasons but for making sure that the customer remains completely satisfied.
