court case finder scam and ripoff utterly misleading advertising Internet

courtcasefinder.com  Do Not Buy Any Of Their Products!

I wanted to find court information concerning an individual.  I know that there were past court records and current court records.  courtcasefinder.com reported locating court records for five instances for this individual.  I paid $24.95 for access to these records.  When I clicked on each individual report details, I was told there was nothing on file for that report.

When I complained to courtcasefinder.com I was told that California law prevents the distribution of court records.  I was refered to their "terms", which do not say that california law prevents the distribution of court records. 

They knew when they displayed the five instances of found "California court records" for this person that they could not report that information to me, and they did not tell me that these records were unavailable until after I payed them the $24.95.  They refused to refund my money.

This is utterly misleading advertising.  I clicked on the very entry they baited me with, and then they told me that they would not give me the information.  This is outright classic bait-and-switch.  This is just plain stealing.

In summary, they teased me with five specific hits on court records I wanted, then after taking my money, they refused to provide that information, and refused to refund my money.
