My last car payment was September. after making the payment I was told you should have paid everything in full. I asled could I continue to make payments until the principle balance was paid off. I was rudely shut down and you better pay now!!! I was also advised to refinance through someone else which means I would pay more!!!! I've been told two different payoff prices!!!! I contacted other loan companies and was told I should be able to continue paying payments until it's paid off!!! Now this so call company CPS is threatening me to take my car. But yet you all took my last payment with no problem. These are the most rudest people I have ever dealt with. Somebody please help with this issue.

Truthful

AUTHOR: PabloDiegoJose - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, October 11, 2012

Mimi:

When people complain on this website with lots of spelling and grammar errors - I have to take it as suspect.  In fact, from my years on the internet I was told to write correctly to be taken seriously.  When we point that out we're called mean and workers of the company.  Since you have an account, you know people post lots of garbage on here.  They weren't ripped off at all!

As for the OP - if you think it's paid in full, the next step would be to go ahead and contact them again to get payment history printout.  Keep in mind if you were late or deferred a car payment, that will make you owe more money.  You need to speak with a supervisor if you are treated badly by the workers.

These people on here being mean to you probably because they work for the company. However I do understand what you are going through CPS is the worst company to finance a car loan. They auto companies want you buy a car and because of misfortunes in your life you got CPS. If this company at any time was rude and done unethical pratice please contact your governor. Also request an audit of your account in writing and this will lessen the last chargers they are trying to get you to refinance.

Trying To Decypher This...

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

Could it be you were continually late throughout this loan that you generated more interest which needs to be paid?

This report may in your view not be garbage but your lack of command of the English language makes it incomprehensible, even your second report is difficult.

yes I was making my car payments. When I made the last car payment the company called and said that I owed $1100,00 dollars . I told them I was not told this until after I made my so called last payment to them. when. I called to talk to them they were very rude n demanding. yes they said to refinance on my car for principle balance. Which would make me pay more money. I have never hear of such thing. So yes I feel like I'm beening riped off. It's not garbage!!!! I've been also told three different prices on what I need to pay to them. It was told to me it didn't matter if I paid $300.00 or 800.00 it wasn't the $1100.00 dollars for principle balance. yes they would my money but it's not what they want. I'm confused about all together.

Garbage post - not ripoff material.

AUTHOR: PabloDiegoJose - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, October 03, 2012

Due to your grammatical errors, and illogical steps, your post is utter garbage.

Let's follow your logic:

1) Your last payment was in September.

2) You state you paid your car loan in full.

3) Then you talk with the representative about continuing payments on your loan (it contradicts what you just said in statement 2).

4) You were told to pay off, refinance it, and/or pay it or they'll take your car (contradicting statements 1, and 2).

In conclusion, you weren't ripped off at all.

I am with Jim on this one.

I am with Jim on this one. That does not make  a lick of sense. Paying the principle off on your car? Were you only paying the interest and nothing else? Do you have the title to the vehicle or does it still have a lien on it?
