well,i just read some of the reports here,and i heard them all too,but being the optimistic person that i am i took all them w/ a grain of salt,until i went to cr england trucking school. 1st off my recruiter lied to me about how much the schooling would could cost! i asked him repeatedly and he told me that it would cost $40.00 for the permit,35.00 for the drug test which they would take out of your 1st paycheck,$50.00 initiation fee,and $200.00 to eat on.for a total of $300.00,well lo and behold to my suprise when i got there this man from the bank handed me a paper saying i owed the school $3000.00! i about fainted! well the whole schooling is what i call boot camp for truckers,and the hell i went throught physically and mentally could tear anybody up! so i said well i've come this far,so i signed the papers in anger upon being lied to by my recruiter. i should have left,but i am no quitter. so after successfully completely "hell week",i graduated proud of myself and my accomplishments,i awaited my 1st trainer. this guy had a lead foot,and loved speeding,and when it was my turn to drive he would get mad at me for obeying the speed limit laws,and it construction zones he would start yelling at me,cause i was again obeying traffic laws,so when it was his turn to drive we came barreling down a mountain doing 75 mph w/ a sharp curve up ahead,and i just knew he was going to kill us,and or somebody else! then up ahead came a construction zone,and he almost took out all the construction barriers,and i know it scared him too! finally i had,had enough,and i told him i want off this train,so he dropped me off at a truckstop,the people there were very compassionate and said they were going to report him,not to mention he was text messaging driving 75 mph,punching in the quall com talking on another cell phone at the same time! this is not what you are taught in school,and i told him that,and he said he didn't care what i was taught in school,cause now we were in the real world! well upon exiting his truck he told me he was glad i was getting off his truck,cause he didn't need a snot nosed woman rookie like me telling him how to drive,and i told him that i would pray for him,cause i knew w/ his kind of driving that he was going to end up dead on the bottom of a canyon somewhere! so next i awaited my second trainer he too would talk on the cell phone,and his ex-girlfriend would make him mad and he would start speeding in anger,and i was like great! he we go again! well like the other trainer before he would critize my driving,well i know my driving was very good considering i am just a peon.well i saved a load from being late which would have costed england money,so they let me go home for a couple of weeks,which i thought was nice,upon returning they hooked me up w/ my third trainer,which was worse than the other two put together! as far as his drivng it was good,but he started spying on me,and trying to control me,and i was not allowed to cover the windows in the truck for privacy! i was not allowed to use the phone only if i was in his presence! it was very,very creepy. i felt like my life was in danger,and my family thought my life was in danger too! he took some time off,and he took me to his house which he was not supposed to do! i stayed there for 4 days the whole while scared to death,and never turning my back to these backwoods inbred hillbillies! so i finally was able to by the grace of god get out of the dangerous situation,and i quit after too much bologna! now england is threatening to ruin me w/ d.a.c. saying i abandoned the load,even though the trainer was w/ it,and saying i didn't complete my training,well the fact that they didn't care about my safety from this predatory animal in and of itself speaks volumes of the company,and mind you not in a good way! well they can do as they wish,but i am grateful to be alive,and having survived this whole crazy ordeal! my reccomendation don't go to cr england! i am sure at one time when chester rodney england was in charge it was a very good company,but his kids have taken over and turned it into a cesspool!
