Cr England 4 weeks, no pay ripoff Salt Lake City Utah

I cannot stress this enough about CRE, read the stupid lease! If you don't understand any part of it, go over it with your family attorney, or an attorney not in any way or on any level associated with CRE or the area truck dealers in Salt Lake City. If you cannot afford an attorney, don't sign the lease. CRE has one of the most complex and difficult to understand leases in the industry, designed to separate the driver from his hard-earned money.

CRE discourages this because any competent lawyer will tell you it is nearly impossible for a solo driver, and difficult for a team, to make anywhere close to the industry standard income you should be able to make, at least not legally and by being compliant with traffic laws and hours of service rules.

If for some reason you still think it is a good idea (you own your home and have another source of income), be sure to have a mechanic not associated with CRE or the local truck dealers check the truck out completely.

When it comes to leasing on with ANY company, let the buyer beware. Many companies work to make the deal mutaully beneficial to both themselves and the lease operator, but more than a few see it as a way to scam drivers.

And the previous poster is correct. Watch out for the credit hit (it's worth it to get away from CRE) and have your husband check his DAC/USIS report annually. CRE has a very nasty and well deserved reputation for being petty and vindictive and won't hesitate to place falsified information into both reports. Still, it is much better than bankrutcy, food stamps, AFDC, Section 8 housing, and all the other wonderful welfare programs you will qualify for if he remains.

Cr England stuck some heavy stuff on my husband's credit and it still sits there.
This company is horrible. I can not stand how they take advantage of so many people. Be thanking your stars though. We had $750 taken out every week on the truck. We actually ran 4400 miles one week and recieved a paycheck of $4.75.

You entered into a lease with the company so they are in deep into your, your husbands, pockets. Rest assured they will smack your credit with the remainder of the truck payments. According to the contracts, all contracts by CR England, any law suits brought againsts the company by employees are to held in a Utah court. It's in the fine print of all contracts employees or contractors sign.

Next be sure to pull your DAC when leaving the company. I left them and was later informed by another carrier that I had an accident reported by CRE that I hit a parked vehicle and left the scene. I have never had an accident of any kind in a commercial vehicle.

Contact USIS at 800-381-0645. Let them know you want a copy of your DAC. Mail a copy of your CDL and SSN card with the request statement. Include your mailing address.

When you get the DAC highlight every inaccuracy so you can contest everything all at once to get it cleared up.

If your husband went through the CRE school and didn't pay for it in cash then CRE will come after you with that bill also. It's a vindictive company and hard to get out from under them. They have a good team of lawyers that are able to skirt the law with contracts. If your husband signed them it's hard to declare ignorance when he willingly initialled and signed the contract.

Best bet is to cut your losses and get with a good CPA or other accounting firm. DO NOT go into a debt consolidation program you will be treated as if you filed bankruptcy when buying or refiancing a house.

Have your husband look into local delivery. Sysco and Sygma Networks workers can get paid around 1000 a week. Martin-Brower also has excellent income and benefits. Work your butt off with loading and unloading but he'll be home every night and you'll have some good income to make up for the mistake. Doesn't have to be permanent, just until you can restore your good credit. It may mean paying off these theives. As much pain as that may be but it would be better to kiss away 20 - 30K than paying 20 - 30K in lawyer and court costs.

It's not what you want to hear but it's the only way I know of on how to get out from under that BS company.

Dont even think about working with or for C R England Period. if you are get out now before you lose it all and they come back for more . They are out for your soul your money your life , they have no regaurd for you or your well being . they do not care about you . lets begin with my story . June 2006 I signed up for Cr englands truck driving course . was shipped to East Chicago Indiana on a bus . was promised breakfast and lunch on the company . I was told to bring enough money to cover dinner and any other expenes i may have . for 3 weeks . I got to Indiana was picked up in a crappy van for a hotel that was substandard i wouldnt even have my pet dog stay there . as far as breakfast well you were lucky to get a stale doughnut and a cup of coffee, Well ok I dont eat breakfast anyway . got to the school (that looked like it was waterlogged and stunk ) on the top floor of a building that was falling apart (very unprofessional looking) come lunch time they served us RAMAN NOODLES in a cup !!!!!!!! we were allowed 2 for lunch . after a 12 hour day at the school we were shipped back to the hotel to sleep and cram for the next day . The yard phaze was even worse we stood outside under a canopy for up to 14 hours a day taking turns attempting the manouvers with the truck in a group of 8 people . The days were long and very hot on the yard . There was no restroom avalible no running water and Two more weeks of NOODLES . After very little training i got my CDL then off to Salt Lake City , on a bus 3 days on a greyhound . as soon as I arrived was told that i had my trainer and i was off .
With very little rest . My training went real well . Learned alot from my trainer . After the six weeks of training i was back at the motel in SLC . I found myself facing a decision company or the LEASE option . I leased (i was told the whole time while i was in school and from my recruter that i could lease any truck avalible on the lot as soon as I upgraded. I showed up at the leasing office and found myself looking at several trucks I asked for a peterbuilt 379 and the leasing manager told me that if this was my first lease that the truck was not avalible to me ! I was Angry . So i settled on a Century and signed the lease .I was off the next day . Not knowing that I was already thousands in the hole . I began driving my tail off , running miles and hoping to see a pay check in 2006 my taxable income was 2818.00 hmmm aug.-dec ? how can this be . I figured it was just bad luck . Living off advances and loans from family . i continued on getting stuck in places for days on end sometimes up to a week . My child support was not getting paid to my surprise my CDL was going to be taken away while i was out on the road . Now since i havent been home for 3 months and i wasnt able to read my mail I didnt know about it til 3 days before it was about to be suspended. I truned in my truck . every time i got a load going near my home it got pulled so i wold go the opposite way . Now Cr England is requesting me to pay them a sum of 9600.00 and school 195.00 after all the miles i pulled for them and didnt get paid . I figure they owe me . I pulled over 75k miles at whatever they made it covers it . For anyone even thinking of owrking for these liars and cheats beware . If you turn in your truck be prepared to be humiliated and literaly thrown out on the front steps . with your things that they will rip out of your truck as soon as you pull in the lot and as far as a bus ticket home FORGET IT . get your own Dont trust these CLOWNS. GET OUT .
