CRC Of The Central Coast scam rude dumb San Luis Obispo California

I recieved a letter from this company. The envelope was titled CRC of the Central Coast. The papers inside say they belong to Raders hoice. Another aka I assume. The letter states that they teamed up with the Hearst corporation. Upon research, I found that a class action lawsuit (in CA) has been filed against the Hearst Corporation for fraudulent magazine scams. So if they are partner companies, and one is a scam, so you suppose the other one is too? You guess.

How they got a hold of my information is beyond me. I have a habit of checking my bank statement online almost everyday. And low and behold there was a charge from "Magazines8007645422". I went to one of my banks branches and showed the bank represenative the letter. He noticed the charge and we both agreed to cancel my card.

There was a number provided to call and cancel this service. I cannot remember that name of the person I spoke to when I called to cancel and also to ask them how they got my info. The telemarketer pretended to be nice.

I told him I closed my bank account. He didn't respond. I then asked him for a physical address, in which he relpied there was none. So I said "How the hell do you fit all you scammers into a PO Box then?". I thought it was funny but he told me to f*** off and told me to have a nice night and he hung up on me. What a fun conversation!

Here is the deal. Scammers will try to threaten you by saying "if you don't pay third party collection agencies will contact you".

My response is "Go ahead, take me to court. Send me the papers with the court date and I will be there" Scammers would never show their face in a court room.

Another thing I told the telemarketer. I catch shoplifters for a living in a not so good urban area. If CRC thinks I am scared of them, boy, do they got another thing coming. I live for this kind of "stuff". I guess not everyone can get an ethical job. But my parents raised me right.

Oh, and I believe that those who write rebuttals to those of us telling our scammming stories, are just people who work for this fraudulent company. Maybe I am wrong, but just a wild guess.

This Company also has many aka's ( I have found this out through extensive research). They have about 8 different addresses also. And apparently, a lot of them live in PO Boxes.
