My husband signed on to Creditkarma.com with the intention of trying to monitor and clean up his credit. He took their advise and applied for a no interest credit card to transfer balances. Not only was he denied the card after assurances that he would be approved he ended up with a 10 point ding on his credit. How can a company willingly do that to someone who was trying to make things better? This was a hard lesson to learn. They are giving bad advise and can lead to serious credit problems for anyone following that advise.
