My 12 year old daughter checked my credit score on creditkarma.com and they have used the information to steal money from my account since Febuary 9. They make it very, very clear that it's totally free. "We don't even get your credit card information." They don't get your credit card number. They use your personal info (SSN, birthdate, etc.) to bill your account monthly. They steal money from people, they are a total scam, and no one does anything about it. I am amazed that they are able to do this in the United States. Every word I'm saying is true. If someone comes on here and tries to say otherwise, they have a hidden agenda. THIS REALLY HAPPENED TO ME!
If it were a person that scammed my 12 year old kid for my personal information and used it to steal money directly from my bank account, it wouldn't matter if they made her sign 4 encyclopedias of fine print, there is a 100% that they would be arrested and convicted. The only difference here is that this is much, much worse. I have $1000 put in my account a month to live on with 3 kids and this company with million dollars of commercials and advertising, has been stealing from me. I'm shocked and I can't get a lawyer to respond to my emails. They will get away with this and continue to make millions by stealing from people.

Fake Credit Karma website vs Real

I have been using CreditKarma.com for over two years now and have never paid a penny, nor have I EVER had telemarketers contact me because they got my information from the website. And yes, I read my online banking and credit card statements very carefully to make sure I do not have bogus charges. I have been able to track my score and activity and even get a credit card that has since had my limits raised due to timely payments.
I think everyone should be VERY CAREFUL when typing the website address to make sure the address is the same AFTER you click GO. There is a FAKE CreditKarma website out there defrauding people. I am sorry if you got duped but the world has changed.
The REAL CreditKarma.com does NOT charge anything, EVER. The commercials are correct. It's like the old saying, "Never sign anything before reading it thoroughly". Well, look up at the website address to confirm the internet lead you to the address you typed...It needs to be common sense now.
PS - Shame on you for allowing your 12 yr old to attempt getting your credit score for you. That is grown up stuff, hell personal stuff, she should not be involved in. Let her do kid things not adult things.
I am a very happy customer of the REAL www.CreditKarma.com

You allowed a 12-year-old to check your credit. Why? Is it because you think she is smarter than you are?
I have also used CreditKarma.com and had no problems (I just checked my accounts to be sure). Like many other free sites, a person on Credit Karma must be careful to read everything before clicking. They do offer other services for a fee and it is easy to sign up for something if you do not uncheck some boxes. By letting a kid do your job for you it opened the door to unwanted services and charges.
