Crescent Bank and Trust ripped my husband off twice. Wednesday October 12, 2004 at 10:00 p.m. we received a phone call from a repo man named Joe. He told us he was coming pick our car up the next day if we didn't give him $655. I told him we sent the payment off. He said Crescent Bank and Trust never received the payment and if they do receive it they will send it back because they handed it over to them (repo people). I told him they should've received the payment or it should be there the next day. He said they needed the money tomorrow. We had to go to a loan company and borrow money to pay them. I talked to Ashanti Morgan and she said she didn't have a payment and lot of other bull. We had to meet him at a gas station and give the money. He gave us a hand written receipt. Now what I don't understand is why am I meeting him at a gas station. We haven't heard from Ashanti Morgan or Joe about our payment in two days. I called her office and left a message asking for documents of them turning over our car to repo. She hasn't called back. I also talked to someone in the office at Crescent Bank and Trust to see if our payment was made. She said the payment was not made. That was two days ago that we gave him our payment (cash) and it's still not on file and they still haven't received our other payment. I am very disgusted with Crescent Bank and Trust and I think they are ripping us off. The last time we had to give them $678 and we never received any documents. Whenever I do call Ashanti Morgan she never returns any phone calls and if I ask to speak to the supervisor Mr. Piazo he never returns any phone calls either. I happened to look on line for their phone nomber and address and came across this web site. I am glad I did. People need to know what Crescent Bank and Trust are doing. They need to be stopped.

How can you feel ripped off?

AUTHOR: Amanda - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, October 31, 2008

You comment that this is the second time that the bank has "ripped" you off. However, what fail to see is that you chose not to abide by the contract that you agreed upon when you financed the vehicle. Regardless of whom the original leander was, I'm sure there were very clear due dates that the payment was to be made. Since you failed to live up to your side of the agreement, shouldn't the bank be the one crying foul here?

Also, based on your original message, your vehicle has been repo'd, or submitted for repo, at least 2 times, right? May want to look a little closer to home before you start pointing the blame elsewhere.
