Cross Country Van Lines Extremely rude, vastly overpriced, did not do a good job at all.Ridgefield New Jersey

This company picked up and delivered furniture. This is not the first time I have moved - twenty years military. The price moving from Texas to Maryland was higher than moving from Maryland to Delawarr. The movers were extremely rude on delivery. They refused to open any boxes to find out what room they belonged in - the pick up crew did not mark either the boxes or the the packing list. The delivery crew argued with my wife; they were offered a place to park by my new neighbor, refused it, and then parked in a manner blocking in residents at the apartment building; then they refused to move the truck when a resident needed to leave until that resident threatened to call the police!

Several items have been found to have been broken in the move - did not file a claim yet I may be back with another story - believe it or not this is the first breakage in 10 years of military and civilian moving. After all this, the delivery people insisted my wife tip them!
