I had a slick young guy about 27 yrs old come to my door to sell magazines in Coeur D'Alene, ID. He was selling them to win a trip to St. Thomas, sound familiar? I hope not.
I wanted to help the guy so I bought a subscription to Super Chevy. I had a bad feeling about it so I went online and found a similar post. He said the magazines were .80 - 2.00 per issue and he had signed me up for 24 issues. The charge was $58, but the max should have been $48. I didn't find the mistake with the math until later. I went looking for him, but he was gone.
There's rumors this could be legitimate, but I don't think so. Between the bad math and other similar posts, I think my money is gone. It stinks because I just had a baby a few months ago, have a 2yr old, and just got my hours cut at work. I can't afford to lose money like this.
There was a phone number he left. 940-365-3460. I called it and it was an answering service for Crossroads Subscriptions Inc. I asked the lady if she knew if it was a legitimate business she was taking messages for, she said she didn't know. But I left a message that I wanted to cancel and she asked for a receipt number too, so i left that as well.

The magazine you ordered is $48.00 for the subscription. You were charged $58.00 because we charge a $10.00 processing/handling fee.
Did you mail in your cancellation? The cancellation policy is stated on the back of the receipt under "NOTICE OF CANCELLATION". It explains how to cancel your order.
