My boyfriend and I bought two kgbdeals for CruiseVacationCenter.com.  For $199, you received $399 worth of cruise credit.  We were hesitant to book with an online cruise agency, but after some research we saw that this company has been around since 1993 and they have sent over 250,000 passengers on cruises.  Sounds safe enough, right?  Wrong?

My boyfriend called initially on Tuesday morning, January 24th to book our cruise.  Linda answered the phone and informed him she was on a long distance phone call and would call him right back.  However, she never called.  We both tried contacting her with no success.  I called back right before 5 pm EST, another woman answered the phone (also named Linda) she informed me that we would need to work with the original person who answered our call (so she could get our commission).  I said that Linda never called us back, so can you help?  She said no, because she was heading out the door.  The next 4 days we tried contacting again with no success.  On day 3 of calling my boyfriend mentioned our voucher, and he was told that only Kathy could book voucher deals.  The next few days of contacting Kathy had no success.  We tried emailing Kathy, but also no response.  We later looked on their site and found out that Kathy Witman was the owner.  Truly disapointing for an owner to act that way, after her website brags about how her and her husband know how "successful cruise events can be when they are professionally planned and attentively coordinated".  Finally on Friday, one of the Linda's admitted that they were no longer honoring KGB deals.  We contacted KGB and they are in the process of refunding us.

This company could have told us on day one that they weren't accepting these vouchers, but instead we had a slew of rude encounters.  I have never posted a review in my life, but I hope others heed the warning and book directly through a cruise line and not this fraudulent cruise agency.  Thank you!
