Crunch Fitness AVOID CRUNCH FITNESS! Palm Beach Gardens Florida

My father and I signed up month to month for Crunch Fitness on my credit card. After several weeks I decided to Freeze my dad's account with a female employee. Several Weeks after that I decided to cancel my account with that very same female employee and of course, several weeks after this I  was still getting charged a monthly fee. 

So after a couple seconds of wondering why I had charges on my account two months after my cancellation and my dad's account freeze, I called and had the luck and at the same time ,misfortune of speaking to the manager. According to the manager, it seems that I was being charged for my dad's account since my account had actually been frozen and not his. 

No Problem at all, I mean I had absolutely no problem with this, I had no receipts to prove otherwise anyway. The only thing I had was my memory. The recollection that I signed a piece of paper saying I agreed my father's account would be frozen; again i say, my father's account - not mine - would be frozen. The recollection that I went to the gym after this freeze was made and before I cancelled so there was no way that my account was frozen and if it was; they would of realized upon my check in that my account was frozen and that they would need to start billing me again.

Of course, all this could be ruled as speculation and I could be proved wrong with the documentation they should have right? Nope, conveniently, the manager could not locate the documentation Showing that I Froze an account at all but he could see( as I pointed out to him) in his system where i was only paying a monthly fee for one person/account. That battle I won. We had spoken over the phone first but I decided to go in when he mentioned my account was frozen and not my father's, I just wanted to see that piece of paper I had signed or point out to him to check his system and he would see that I checked in the gym after that freeze was made.

Now at this time I would like to point out that I have the same last name of my father and My father's first name has a one letter difference with mine ( Dunny vs Danny). Our names start and End with the same letter and is made up of the same amount of letters. I pointed this out to the manager. I explained to him I remember looking for and seeing my Father's name spelt on the paper I signed for the freeze so maybe some how the female employee mixed up the account numbers and names. The manager even agreed this was possible. But, He said not only could he not find documentation of the freeze but he could not see when exactly I made the freeze to an account on the computer and therefore could not determine whether or not I checked in the gym after I made the freeze.( That would of proven I was right so of course not).

This was what made me  report this on here. not only did this manager lack documentation but he refused to give a refund in which he could of easily approved under the combined circumstances of my demeanor, the missing documentation and my matching explanation. i was not nasty with him,( not until the end when i told him I was report his mis-charges as such to my bank) and I was patient( I had to wait 15 minutes before we even started because he was the only employee in that day somehow).

I really hope this guy isn't manager for too long. I think crunch fitness is a nice place and I don't want to downplay every gym for one person's mismanagement.
