CUNA Mutual Insurance read everything very carefully Waverly, Iowa

When I bought my car two and a half years ago I took out the insurance with CUNA, through my credit union who financed my car, just in case I became unemployed or disabled.  Eight weeks ago I lost my job.  I filed a claim with CUNA to help me out with my car payments until I  find another job.  But CUNA said I am not eligible for this insurance coverage any more because I worked a temp job three days a week for three weeks.  I have also canceled my life insurance with CUNA.  I don't want to do business with people/companies like CUNA.  I also called the credit union whom I have the loan with and complained to them about CUNA but, of course, that didn't do any good.  So CUNA has gotten an extra $30 a month for the past two and a half years from me but they refuse to help me out in a time of need.  Lesson learned -- always read the fine print.
