Curt Hollis at Electronic Business Solutions (which I now believe has gone out of business) should be avoided at all costs. He completely ripped us off when we opened our retail store, assured us that the lease on the credit card machine was cancellable when in fact it was a FOUR YEAR lease that we couldn't get out of. So he said he would take the machine back and find someone to take over the lease so I sent it to him, but he never found anyone to take over the lease and refused to give our machine back so we were paying on a lease and we didn't even have the machine. He refused to return phone calls or e-mails so I took him to small claims court and the judge ordered him to return the machine. I did get a machine back, but it is not the same one I leased and now I can't return it to the leasing company.
Curt Hollis has now disconnected his phone numbers and I can't reach him but he ripped us off for over $5,000 and once a con artist, always a con-artist so if you run across a Glenn Hollis or a Curt Hollis who has anything to do with Credit Card Machine Leases or Credit Card Processing - RUN - HE IS A CROOK!!! Also, if anyone is doing a background check on Mr. Hollis for potential employment I hope you see this and refuse to hire him. He has scammed and ripped off small business owners who don't have the money to lose and is a terrible person. Please do not hire this man or do business with him.

I am not sure how I would be able to convince someone to signe a lease that clearly states "Non Cancelable" that it is cancelable.
I have helped businesses to transfer leases more than a few times. Its a fairly easy process.
I think the main challenge was that when Heili first opened their RC shop, that leasing terminals was very popular.
Since then the industry has moved to the "Free" terminal program. Trying to transfer a credit card terminal lease when you can get one for free is a challenge.
No, we dont lease credit card terminals, only POS systems due to the cost of the extensive hardware and time involved with installations.
I am sorry that i wasnt able to transfer your credit card terminal lease due to those circumstances.

I just can't tell you how sick all of this makes me. Dishonest salespeople not giving the whole sotry to the small business owners and putting them out of business in a lot of cases.
I work for a credit card processing company and we provide our machine at no cost. I explain ALL of the costs up front and these other processing rip off artists just make me sick. NEVER lease a machine when you can get one free or buy one on the internet. It just makes better sense.
I have 2 customers that I am going to battle right now for. One guy got a refurbished machine that the leasing company wants him to pay $2500 for and the thing doesn't work. He ran one transaction and it would never batch out, his processing company told him it was lost and too bad. My other guy got rooked into a machine he didn't need and the charges were double what the savings they said would be. I will be contacting the atty general in the state the processing company is registered in and in Colorado. I will also be filing a complaint with the FTC and will try to find an attorney that might be willing do do a Guido and Knuckles call on my friend behalf.
Doesn't anyone care about their reputation anymore? In my small town this is everything and these bad people are making my honest way of making a living a living hell. Don't give up, file complaints fast and often. We need to get these people out of here, out of business.
