Customized Girl steals all of it's design "ideas" from hard working graphic designers and places them for sale in their store.  Please do not buy stolen work!

I have an online store where I sell my original graphics that I work very hard on.  A lot of my graphics I have been the only shop with for years. Now Customized Girl has come in and taken nearly my whole shop and placed them for sale on Customized Girl.  Without paying a penny for all of my work. Customized Girl takes each and every new products idea I come up with usually within a week or two of it's introduction on my site.

Now, only I and CustomzedGirl are selling my original design ideas. Other website owners are also noticing their content too, is now being placed for sale on CustomizedGirl without thier permission or any payment to the designers.

CustomizedGirl is taking the right to make an honest living from many artists and designers. Most of the work placed on CustomizedGirl is stolen content, recreated.

Please do not buy from a company with no morals, values or scruples!

CustomizedGirl will likely be sued, as a lot of the stolen content is copyrighted and/or trademarked. Until this happens, why not buy your desired designs from the original artists who worked hard creating them? Simply Google the phrases on the items and you will see the shops of the original artists who did not get paid in any way by Customized Girl for their ideas, designs or hard work.  *Do not Google the page title of the design, as CustomizedGirl is usually very carefull to call the design by a different title than the original artist/designer (why is that, you ask? Well, if you stole a bike, wouldn't you paint it and different color, if you were going to sell it?  Please don't steal like CustomizedGirl.com. I just wanted to make a point)

Google the verse on the shirt, mug or items you are interested in and you are likely to see who deserves your hard earned money for their hard work. It won't be CustomizedGirl.

Second Response to "stolen ideas"

AUTHOR: CustomizedGirl - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, July 13, 2011

Greetings,

This is the same employee of Customized Girl again.

It has now been almost three months since my original post, and this person has not responded to us in any way.  If their art was really stolen and displayed on our site, wouldn't they want to contact us to take it down? At this point we are ready to dismiss the validity of their claims.

If you're out there, original poster, and you still feel like you have a legitimate complaint, please contact us so that we can solve your problem. We'd be happy to work with you.

Response to "stolen ideas"

AUTHOR: CustomizedGirl - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, April 27, 2011

Greetings,

I am an employee of Customized Girl.  First of all, I'd like to apologize for this experience.  Clearly you are very upset and we hate to think we've done something to upset you.

Would you mind telling us what specifically you think has been stolen from you?  What site do you operate?

The problem is, as of right now, we do not know what designs you are talking about.  It is our policy to create original designs on our site, and we certainly would never want to steal from someone else.   As far as we know, we don't think we've stolen anything.  If you could enlighten us, and show us what similarities you have noticed between our ideas and yours, then we would be happy to resolve the matter with you.

Since we don't have any information, all we can do is guess as to what has happened.

Perhaps it was a coincidence?  We both created somewhat similar designs at the same time?

Are you complaining about specific art (also called "clipart")?

Most of the art on our site is purchased from legitimate clipart publishers, in book and cd format.  For example, a lot of our art is from www.yourartpages.com.  Is it possible that a piece of your art is similar to a piece of art in a clipart book?

Please, we want to work with you to make you happy, but we need your help.
