They lied to me, shipped me a product I didn't order which was so poorly packaged it arrived missing a part and now they won't take it back or return calls. In America that's stealing.

I found on their website the uniden phone I'd been looking for with 3 handsets. The page with the phone did not list anywhere that it was refurbished, but just to be safe I phoned them and the told me it was new in the box, so I ordered it. It arrived in a beat-up box for the 4-handset model with all the parts rattling around and a piece of tape it looked like UPS had slapped on it. On the exterior of the box they had simply crossed out the 4 with a pen and written in 3. So obviously this was not a new product.

Upon opening the box I discovered the battery for one of the handsets was missing and not from uniden identifying the unit as a refurb. I called them up and told them the problem. They said the site said it was a refurb, we both went to the site while on the phone and it turns out that from one page it does and from the one I ordered from it did not. Yet they still refuse to give me a 100% refund and pay for shipping even though this is 100% their mistake. They're thieves!
