I came to Dakota Silencer after looking for a silencer for hunting. I contacted the sales team at Dakota Silencer and they told me about their various offerings. I got a really hard sales pitch from the team there. They told me about the own silencers they supposedly manufacture.
Once I bought the silencer, I was actually told by my friend who's a businessman in China that Dakota Silencer is actually making these silencers in China and secretly importing them into our great country.
I tried to write reviews about this on Google Reviews, but I quickly got phone calls from the company demanding that I remove the reviews for slander.
I am now $5000 out of pocket and angry. I have no choice but to voice my opinion without fear of threats or worse.

This compliant is obviously fake and was unfortunately written by a competitor. A bogus review that seeks to hurt a business is slanderous and fraudulent, our legal counsel advised us to report this to law enforcement; especially since this has been ongoing. We filed a police report in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. We have turned this issue over to the federal agency that regulates both our business and their business, Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives (BATFE). The ATF agency in Des Moines, IA has been assigned this issue.
We are a dealer for over fifteen plus manufactures. Class 3 weapons cannot be imported or exported. We don’t have a product that cost $5,000.
We have enjoyed working gunshows in Iowa and enjoyed many new dealers and many new potential customers. It is unfortunate one dealer has taken these actions. We have turned this over to federal law enforcement to handle.
