We received a Dan Dooley car rental as part of our Aer Lingus vacation package deal. Huge mistake. First, we waited an hour and a half for our rental. Next, the Dan Dooley representative was extremely rude and unhelpful. To make things worse, Dan Dooley charged us nearly $400 extra for the vehicle despite being completely prepaid as part of the Aer Lingus package. And the Aer Lingus Vacation Store (GCS Ltd, Sceptre Tours) customer service reps were no help at all with fixing the issue. Basically they said when dealing with Dan Dooley, you're on your own. The package deal is a huge scam. To top it all off, the car was absolutely disgusting. Not only was it old and run-down, but someone had gotten sick on the passenger side and the smell was still there. Avoid this company!!
