Daniel Thiel makes many promises but delivers nothing. Do business with him and it will be your last, as well as being at the detriment of your business and social circles. A close, old public school friend of mine was duped into doing business with this man, and making introductions on his behalf to very important people - BIG MISTAKE. He has no UK/London office. From what others have said and written about him he has no international offices.
He uses the good name, image and status of business people to ride upon and elevate himself. Do not do business with this man. He uses the name and psuedo associations of business professionals, i.e., Donald Trump, and monarchs around the world to get people to connect with his organisation.
Daniel Thiel professes to be a billionaire with access to those in power around the world. He dreams of world domination of the solar industry and will go to extreme measures to reach his goal. Save your reputation and do not do business with this man, he will drag your name and your business down to the gutter and leave you there.
He is said to have his own jet, live in a Trump penthouse in Canada with an Iranian prostitute who was once married to a friend of his, and lives a very unsavoury lifestyle with dubious friends. From what others have said he seeks tax havens to not pay USA taxation. In addition, when he is not in Canada he is in Las Vegas or California (or another city around the world) staying at expensive hotel suites with the wives of business associates-bedding them with the promise to pamper
them to the hilt.
Whatever you do, do not associate your name with his and his companies. Sol Global Solar, SolaRover, etc. If you are going to do business with him, ensure that you get payment up front first in CASH. Daniel Thiel does not make payments on time, or at any time. Daniel Thiel expects something for nothing.

Rather than post and debate issues in this format, I welcome your phone call for more detailed explanations. I will respond here but will not continue these discussions in this forum as they cannot possibly be taken in the correct context. Thiel was CEO and in control of this company long before I became associated with it. Many of the company employees, creditors and investors fell victim to all of his subterfuge and antics. The SolaRover product is a good product, but it was not evolved and made commercial by Thiel. We spent 2 years correcting, repairing, and rebuilding talent, reputation and product while getting Thiel completely out of the company. You have it backwards - we did not have him in the company, nor did we bring him into the company - we were victimized and worked hard to make sure the company was free and clear of him - a long, hard and very difficult task. You may not HAVE a relationship with Daniel Thiel, but it seems you HAVE HAD a very tight relationship with him. Press releases on your own web site indicate that Daniel Thiel has been the CEO (!) of SolaRover (search "Daniel Thiel" and SolaRover). Okay, this release is 2 1/2 years old, but knowing that this person has worked in that important role for your company, is just not good for SolaRover's reputation on the market. As much as I would like to believe that you have cut off all connections to Daniel Thiel, this does give a very bad feeling to me as a potential customer of your company.

Daniel Thiel has no association, affiliation, ownership or any other relationship with SolaRover. SolaRover is an independent company with no business dealings or relationships with Thiel. Hello,..... your talking about own experiance and are from the business or where you get your informations?
This guy underwrote a PI for delivery of more then 100 MW at our company, and thats the end....
A lot of troubles with our suppliers, no results.
Pls be so kind, to give me more informations, would be glad to receive some contact to you
