David Rose is the worst customer I have dealt with in all my life. I've heard of scammers and people that rip others off but never thought it could happen while painting someone's house. I was told to look this guy up and should've before ever doing business with him, would've saved a ton of time and money!

He hired us under the false pretense he would have an empty house and we would have ZERO prep work to do, and because of this I decreased his pricing by a lot (all the materials and man hours used to prepare a house for painting). Well David isn't as smooth as he thought and took an extra two weeks closing on this home. Once he did instead of re-scheduling furniture, painting, flooring, handyman, etc he let us all come at once.

First violation of our agreement: No one in the house except for our crew so we could work fast.

While the flooring crew was there they tore up our preparation work and began telling us which rooms we couldn't work in. We had 7 rooms painted in two days! Then a screeching halt for over a week and half while re-doing prep work daily, being told we couldn't go in certain rooms for days, etc.

Second violation of our agreement: Absolutely ZERO prep work needed as new flooring was to be installed.

Not only did this cost us hundreds in materials but hundreds in man hours, to this David simply stated he would handle the flooring crew, but never did, just waited until they finished.

We were down to the final day and needed more funding for paint. I took a small local job to paint a living room on Wed and explained this to David as we needed more funding and I won't ask for more of a deposit. I explained we would be in Thursday morning with a full crew and finish the entire interior. He threw a tantrum and stated we come NOW (over an hour away).

The next morning I reached out before showing up and he fired my crew as we didn't show the previous day (Wed.) which I explained to him why. With barely any work to be done, and very simple work to clean latex off new tiling (like rubbing your finger over it) he decided he wasn't going to pay us, and start harassing me to collect half the deposit!

Pure Scam Artist Customer! DO NOT TRUST, DO NOT WORK WITH. HE WILL COMPLAIN AS SEEN IN HIS OTHER REPORTS AGAINST PEOPLE SIMPLY TRANSPORTING HIS VEHICLE. GOD HIMSELF COULDN'T MAKE THIS MAN HAPPY AND STOP HIM FROM HARASSING YOU.
