I mailed my sunglasses to get repaired on September 9, 2009. I then called for a repair update on October ?, 2009. I was told that they were being worked on and would be sent shortly. I called again on November 11,2009 and left a message with Karine Smith ext 108 (customer service) on November 12, 2009 I received an e-mail from Karina stating that the sunglasses were not able to be located and that she would be happy to refund the shipping that I had to prepay when the sunglasses were shipped to them. The about was for 12.00 shipping and warranty 9.95 for two years. I called to speak to Karina on November 12, 2009 and expressed my concern not with the shipping refund but the sunglasses that were lost (valued at 294.99). She said, "what would you say if you sent us 100.00 and you can have your glasses replaced in any color". I explained to her that Decor my eyes lost them and I should not have to pay for them to be replaced. She asked that I speak with her manager aka owner Tony Russo. He got on the phone and said, "That I was being difficult and that he was trying to help out by charging only 100.00 to replace the sunglasses. I explained again that I did not think I should be charged for something that his company lost. He then said, "Stop my bitching about 100.00 and that he went out last Saturday and bought shots for 5 girls that he met and spent 100.00. I said, "His going out did not concern me. He then went on saying that he has customers everyday that spend 1000.00 on sunglasses and I was bitching about 100.00." I was shocked that this was cutomer service. I said to Tony Russo that I was going to hang up now and take matters into my own hands. He asked what I meant by that and I told him that I would contact an atty. I was reffered to him by the compnau that I puchased the sunglasses through. Sunglassexpo. They have a different toll free phone number but that company and decor my eyes have the same call girl answering the phones. Strange???? I De cor my eyes defense the 12.00 for shipping and 9.9 for the warrenty was refunded without me know back to my card but my 294.99 sunglasses were never replaced.
