being a pool owner for 30 years I know what is expected from a solar cover. NO THEY DONOT LAST FOREVER, BUT LESS THAN 1 YEAR. THEY MADE ME A OFFER AS IF THE COVER WAS 7YRS OLD !!COME ON!!  . IAM JUST TELLING YOU WHAT I DID WAS NORMAL USE AND THIS COVER DIDNOT PERFORM AS IT SHOULD ,AND COVERS PREVIOUSLY  DID, TAKE IT AS YOU MAY,JUST IT WAS DEFECTIVE AND THEY KNOW IT, OR THEY WOULDNOT OF OFFERD ANY TYPE OF DICOUNT WHICH WAS A JOKE!!!

 Sorry but I feel that YOU have possibly misread the situation. There are different types of warrenty. In YOUR instance it sounds like YOU have an 8 year MANUFACTURER warrenty. What this means for YOU is that the warrenty covers the QUALITY OF THE BUILD!!! Which means that if your cover starts unravelling or no longer fitting due to the QUALITY OF THE BUILD then they will replace it. YOU have assumed erroniously that your warrenty covers EVERYTHING. WHich is NOT the case. This is WHY information is provided to you at the time of purchase. WHile I agree its a bit unpleasant to have to deal with this situation, YOU have villified THEM due to YOUR ASSUMPTION and NOT based on any ACTUAL ripoff. And before YOU even start, NOPE!! Dont work for them or know them. All I did was research the warrenties available and figured out which one YOU had. Just saying that YOUR IGNORANCE of your warrenty terms and conditions have caused this. There is no warrenty that covers EVERYTHING. Why is it that you people hear the word WARRENTY and ASSUME that it covers EVERY situation that YOU may have to deal with. I agree that a year is a bit short but it ALL depends on the enviromental factors of YOUR area. Of which the people who made the cover are NOT going to know about OR have any control over. Its entirely possible that there WAS misuse on YOUR part. Only YOU know if its true and YOU would say whatever you thought YOU could get away with in order to get a FREE cover. YOU have proven this by just making the post YOU DID!! Its DEFAMATION!! Pure and simple. YOU provide zero proof of ANY wrongdoing on THIER PART!! No PROOF means that what YOU have said is designed ONLY to cause THEM harm. Get your paperwork and show the world WHERE it says in that paperwork that YOU are 100% covered in case of ANY instances of damage. If YOU cant show this then accept that what YOU have done IS defamation and YOU get to accept the costs of placing defamation on the web.
