I must write this to advise to all customers, BEWARE buying vehicles at Deland Kia.  They seem to be very polite, and will tell you that pushing is not their way.  It may not be... but the numbers never match.  NEVER!.  Sales person will give you a price, and financial person will give you another price.  Why do you think they make you sign trade in papers first, so you can release any rights of your trade in before purchasing the new vehicle while at the financial office?

So customer do not have a choice after pretty much release the rights to the old vehicle.  NOw they know you have no choice, and make you sign new papers.  From a 22,000 dollars quote, we ended up up 36,000 final price.  They lied, covered up, and left customer without options.  It is disgusting.  Do not go there.  Do not fall in the necessity.    New owners from 7 months now, and they still doing the same thief tricks from before.

Kia is junk? Says who? What's your credentials/experience in this matter? That's what I thought. I have an 07 Spectra SX that has almost 200,000 miles on it and have never replaced anything but the clutch and it still looks new. Tell me you can say that about your vehicle.

Any trade in paper work is not valid til you sign the loan

" Why do you think they make you sign trade in papers first, so you can release any rights of your trade in before purchasing the new vehicle while at the financial office?"

If you don't follow through and get the loan it doesn't matter if you sign the trade in paperwork. The only time signing the trade in paperwork matters is if you sign the loan paperwork. If you apply for a loan you get the trade in back if the loan falls through. The trade is consideration for the sale.

Also, the purpose of the car salesman is to sell you the car. The finance person sells you additional warranty or loan protection products. DO NOT get them unless you see the value in them. Their numbers are never going to match at any dealership.

Next time remember the following:

1. Try go get a loan through your credit union or bank. Do not get dealer financing unless you really have no other option.

2, Do not get the extended warranty unless you really want it and make sure it covers what work you may need done.

3. Any paperwork you sign up to the actual loan paperwork is meant to build a psychological commitment to buy the car. You can back out at any time. The trade in paperwork is part of that.

4. No matter what they say ALL dealerships do this to some extent.
