Dell Computer Financial Services ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing Carol Stream Illinois

I bought 2 computer systems from Dell computers as Christmas Gifts to family members that do not live with me in November of 2003. I was told I was approved for $3000 and that it was zero percent interest until July of 2004. The main reason I made this purchase was because this promotion.

When I received a bill last week I was charged 29.38 for deferred finance charges and $48.10 billed finance charges. The finance summary reveals 19.99% interest the amount of $2838.02 = $77.48.The new effective rate will be 20.09%

I called the company today and was told I was not approved such promotion. I told them I was never informed that I was not approved of such promotion, and if I was I would not have had made the purchase in the first place.

When I informed them I would report them, A manager named Lera offered to remove the deferred charges of $29.38. I requested my account closed immediately.
I tried calling Dell computers and was told they don't have anything to do with it. I will be stuck paying off this account immediately because they were christmas gifts and I can't send them back, and I don't want to mess up my credit rating.
