Back in June of 2008 I ordered an XPS M1530, 3gigs of ram, Blu-ray player/burner and alot of other stuff for Sale at $2500.  The computer ran great until about August of 2010.

I called the customer service to let them know that the computer wouldn't get pass the start up screen. They sent a tech out and replaced the motherboard, in which at the time I was happy do to fixing the problem.

One month later it happened again, went through the same steps.  Tech came out replaced it again, then another month later it got replaced.

All this time my warranty was coming to an end by January 2011, and all they wanted was for me to spend around $400+ to renew the warranty.  With lots of switching back and forth and arguing they finally sent me another computer.  I was also told that the motherboard was defected, and they kept putting it in laptop knowing it was bad.  There was also a class action lawsuit against NVIDEA.

Sadly they sent me a piece of crap, minus alot of the features that the first one had.  They sent me an XPS L501x, minus blu-ray burner and alot of other add ons.  The price for the laptop was horribly low at around $600.  Performance was horrible compared to my first which was considerably older.

They also kept bugging me to renew the warranty for this piece of crap.  I decided not to because it wasn't worth putting up with their lies and crap.  About 6 months having the L501X, the power source crapped out.  I looked up information and it was a known problem for this laptop.

In the end well never by a dell laptop, for many reasons and highly discourage anyone else from purchasing one.  Ther customer service is horrific, repairs are horrific, then they give you a piece of crap for the one that kept missing up.
