Delta Dental is the worst... The company has maintained the same "cap" on procedures even as the cost of procedures has skyrocketed...They require the provider to submit in writing via regular mail any claims, then "lose" the claim to postpone payment... When I decided to cancel the policy, I was informed that they would not allow it (no seriously), telling me that I needed an "underlying cause" and in any case would not cancel the policy until the end of the year (and I've been with them for ten years) ...Anyone considering dental coverage should consider a payment plan through their dentist, or other methods to pay for procedures....anyone but Delta Insurance!
