I hired Delta Moving or Precision Moving (They are both the same company) to move my belongings from Sharpsville, Pa to Largo, Florida the 24th of May 2010. When they came to pack up my things they verbally said it would be anywhere from 3-7 days to recieve my things. When the 7 days passed I called and they had no idea where my things were or even when the truck was to show up. It was not until about June 11th that I recieved a phone call that half of my stuff was going to be delivered by Boyce. Issac told me that my belongings were overweight and that instead of 770$ that they quoted me on, I now owed them 1700$. I asked for a scale ticket and they could not provide it to me. He said since I have been having so much trouble he would reduce the price to 1100$. I again asked for a scale ticket and he said I could meet him at a weigh station in Largo when my stuff arrived, I agreed. Boyce called at 9:30 am and said he was in Orlando and he would be in Largo around 4 or 5. I called at 5, he said he would be late around 7. I called at 7 and the time moved to 11. He called me at 11 and said it would be 12. He called me at 1:30 am and said he was here. I told him that it was too late, and asked if we could wait until the morning. He said no, he had to be in North Carolina in the morning and if I did not come and get my things, I would be forced to pay for a storage unit in Orlando. I went and got half of my things. I called Delta the next day and complaint about the service and the price. They said there was nothing they could do and since I did not refuse my half of my things I could no longer recieve proof of the weight of my things. To me this was a set up. A week later I get a phone call for the remainder of my things to be delivered. The truck came, my brand new couches were ripped, the legs of my desk snapped off, my bed broken, and cloths, dvd player, dishes, and personal belongings lost. I have been calling and calling and they have no idea where any of my things are, or have any answer for me on what they are going to do for me. They are very rude and disrespectful. Out of a big company I am only allowed to speak with Susan or Issac. Nothing has yet to be done to get my damaged belongings repaired, or my lost items back.
