Delta Moving and Storage Precision Moving SCREWED US OVER BIG TIME Bronx, New York

I contacted this company and decided to use them after multiple conversations with them and the reviews I could find.  I asked multiple times about them arriving by June 1st and I was assured they would be there either the 1st or 2nd the latest.  To ensure this, they scheduled to pick up our stuff 10 days before this date. After arriving 12 hrs late to pick everything up, they were rude and would not explain in detail what the wording meant in the contracts they demanded we signed.  They did not speak any english and when I questioned them on the contract he would point and say "you just sign no questions".  What where we to do at this point as we didn't have anyone else who we could have contacted to move our things across country.  At the end of the night (almost midnight) they handed a paper saying we were required to l give them a tip.  3 days later, after getting the run around, we were told instead of our "binding" quote to be $3200 it was now $5700 and that was after I talked them down from $7200.  I told him we asked for someone to come out to look at all of our stuff vs sending in what we had and I was told they couldn't do that.  That should have been our first sign of trouble.  These people showed up 8 days late from when they said they would be there.  The driver again was very rude and tried to charge us another $275 to bring our furniture up one set of stairs which in our quote indicated the first flight of stairs was included.  He told us that we had 12 steps and that a flight of steps was only 7 steps.  I asked what kind of house this guy lived in.  So we would not allow them to bring things upstairs to only be charged.  Again, he they demanded a tip and we told him to get out of the house. They took every last penny we had and still blamed us for not doing our homework.  Most of our stuff was beat to crap and we were missing several boxes.  They would not return our calls regarding our loss.  PLEASE LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKES AND DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER!!!!!!!!
