I purchased a cell phone from Mr. Lewis through e-bay. It was for my son as a reward for making honor roll on his end of year report card. He had been saving his money to buy this cell phone. I helped him with the additional money he needed as a total of $254.00.
I sent money order, Mr. lewis confirmed receipt with signed postal return card and told me within five days I would receive cell phone.
We are going on 12 days and no phone is received. I asked him for tracking numbers and he has given me bogus tracking numbers.
In the meantime two other e-bay members have contacted me in response to my negative feedback listing and informed me that they also have not received their items.
I am so saddened by this. we work very hard for our money and my son is crushed. this was a first experience on e-bay and my suspicions have proven to be correct.
Dennis Lewis calls me often claiming he is working on the tracking of the package and can't understand why the tracking numbers are not working.
It has also been a rather un-nerving experience on many levels

The situation between Mr. Dennis Lewis and myself has been resolved. After contacting local authorities and continued contact with Mr. Lewis, Mr. Lewis resolved the case by sending me a full refund for the items bought and never received.

ANOTHER victim of this guy!!!
AUTHOR: James - (U.S.A.)

I had a situation in which Dennis Lewis owed me $1850.00 for items that I paid him for that he failed to provide.(See my report-search this site under "Lewis") The situation went on for two months with frequent calls, invalid tracking numbers, excuses and bogus legal threats from Dennis Lewis. He actually told me that he was a law student and his father was an attorney- Both of these assertions were found to be false. Here is how I got my money and court costs returned to me. I recommend these steps, they worked for me.
File a fraud complaint at www.ifccfbi.gov. File a mail fraud complaint at www.usps.com, or obtain a form at your post office. I was able to file a civil suit, since I live in the same state as Mr. Lewis. Check with your local court system as well. If Mr. Lewis pays you with PayPal, watch out- He filed a false complaint against me in an attempt to get the money taken back after making me think he had paid up. He failed, as I contacted PayPal immediately and set the record straight. Call the Manchester, PA post office at 717-266-2466. They are aware of the problems people have been having with Mr. Lewis. Don't be scared by his legal threats!!
Denny, if you are reading this, I owe you no apologies. Everything I have said is true and you know it. I was fair and reasonable with you. I even had hopes that you may change for the better. Other than the fact that you continuously scam and defraud people, you seem like a decent guy to talk to. Do yourself a favor- Pay the people you owe and STOP this nonsense before it is too late.

Ebay has many way of getting the information of the seller even down to the street address even if they post po boxs to recieve the payment so first get his contact information like the address the full name phone number and spak with the person. ebay has a few other programs (not software) to help you get your money back. I will post that info soon...

Actually..... you MUST deliver a product
AUTHOR: Elizabeth - (U.S.A.)

Actually, by law you MUST deliver a product paid for by the customer. Insurance is for the protection of the seller, not the buyer. If you take the customer's money, you MSUT deliver a product or you can be held liable in court. That is why it is IMPERATIVE to have delivery confirmation and insurance on EVERY package as a seller. I include insurance in my shipping prices. You can research this on the shipping board on eBay.
However, I don't think you were given a fair shake Mr. Lewis. You seem like you are willing to work with the customer, and I would hope she would give you the benefit of the doubt and a little more time. I just wanted to let you know for yourself that insurance is for protection of the seller, even if it was given as an option. The only way around this is to have an actual written statement with a signature from the customer beforehand stating that they won't hold you responsable, etc. Good luck with your sales.

WRONGLY ACCUSED AND WRONG INFORMATION PROVIDED
AUTHOR: Dennis - (U.S.A.)

First off in this report is the phone # my # is [DELETED]. Yes there was a problem. Though did natasha vow to tell you I agree to fix this as well? Did she tell you refund was being sent? i think not. She jumped the gun and expected the item to appearlike majic. standard post rules for parcel post is 7-14 days which is listed in the guide on rates and shipping.
Secondly, she didn't pay for insurance. Legally i dont have to do anything. Because the insurance was on option. I was being nice and offered a refund because i insured it out of my own pocket at my own exspence. anyone knows i am rightfully entitiled to not pay. Though its not the case here... Guess natasha didnt tell you that either did she?
sees quick to jump the gun on me. doesnt give me time and calls 10 times a day. ye i have answed every call. all questions and was reasonable and worked with her. Never did i dis-respect her as she slanders me. anyone see my point? case closed. this matter is in progress of being resolved.
