I started receiving phone calls from the Department of Law and Investigation at work about two months ago. I could not understand the man calling as he had a very heavy accent. Finally after the third time he called I told him he would have to find someone that spoke english to call me. He sent me to his supervisor which was not much better. His supervisor proceeded to tell me that I was being investigated for taking out a loan on the internet and when the company went to automatically withdraw payment from my checking account the funds were not available.
I told him that I did not take out any loan on the internet and that no money had been deposited into my bank account for such said loan and that he must be mistaken. He then rattled off my address, the name of my bank, my place of employment and my social security number all of them correct. This frightened me a little and I hung up on him. The following day he called my place of employment twelve times, the office secretary refused to put him through to me and he called her a mother f*#$%r. I finally told her to put him through and he told me that he had local law enforcement standing by and a writ of exectution had already been filed. I know that you cannot get a writ of execution without a judgment first and I would have had to be served. I told him to read me the bank account number that the money was deposited into when I supposedly took out this loan and he said he already sent the papers to the local sheriff's office and did not have that information. I told him to get it and then we would talk. He then said he was sending local law enforcement to pick me up and put me behind bars and that I would never find another job in the United States again. I told him to send them. Have not heard a word from them May 20, 2011 when they contacted a friend of mine inquiring about me. They called her 6 times before she told them she was reporting them to police.
He has called me nonstop today May 23, 2011 and will not stop, I do not know what to do. He wants me to give him money and give him my bank account number. I told him to send the police to my place of employment and have me arrested. He has nothing to threaten me with now so just keeps ringing the office phone. This is ridiculeous that these people can come into our country and harrass us at our jobs and where are they getting our personal information from?
