Department of legal Affairs Legal assistant Scam for paying back or jail. New York.

 I was called on my cell phone by a lady with Indian accent who said that she was from the department of Legal Affairs but when I ask what she was calling about she wanted to transfer me to someone else because I told her that I never received anything in the mail. I hung up because I knew it was a scam becauser they had called before and gotten $300 out of me because threatened to call the police which I believed at the time. I even called a lawyer because I was not going to pay them any more money. They told me then that it was a scam. I hope no one gets that kind of call and looses any money like me.
