Late last year we received a maintenance fee bill with extra charges for a water intrusion fee added, which was in a resort we do not own at. So we received an extra amount added to our bill for roughly $2500.00 on top of our regular fees totaling just over $5000.00 I contacted Diamond resorts and informed them I did not have the money needed at this time and would pay when the economy would pick up again and I could afford it. I did not make arrangements for payments as I was uncertian how much extra cash I would have.

Then in June, I contacted Diamond Resorts to transfer all the points that I had accumulated into next year and was informed I could not do that since I did not pay my maintence fees. Also since I did not pay my maintence fees and they would not let me transfer them, they took all my points accumulated away and will not return them, even if I pay my maintence fees.

I called Diamond Resorts the other day to try and sort out this matter and settle on something so that I would be able to use my time share again, since they also will not let me use it, because the maintenance fees have not been paid yet. Since last November they have added roughly another $1000.00 in late fees and interest. Since I was uncertian what to do, I did not arrange anything with them as far as a payment plan is concerned. Plus I want all my accumulated points back, if they want to charge me outragous fees.
