Nov. 9th, 2010 I signed uo to receive a trial for $2.95.

I never recevied my trial diet pills. On Nov 18t, 2010, they debited my checking account $87.16.

I called the diet center. I tried to explain that I never received my trial diet  pills.

And my bank said that they were debited my account for $87.00.

I thought on a trial period you could cancel somethin you ordered and decided you didn't want.

the diet center told me it was  all non refundable.

they have taken my money, NEVER SENT ME ANY PILLS AND REFUSE FOR ME TO CANCEL MY ORDER I NEVER RECEIVED,

HELP, WHERE IS THE JUSTICE IN THIS.

THIS IS A BIG SCAM OR RIP OFF.

I LEARNED A HARD LESSON TODAY,   DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING THRU THE INTERENT

It is not the Internets fault. It is believing that anything called a "trial", is not a scam. It always is.

The trick to ordering over the internet, is to investigate before you submit any account information. And ALWAYS assume that if something is implied as "free" or "trial" or shipping only..that somewhere in the fine print, is a much higher charge you are authorizing, and possibly a membership fee that will have you find monthly charges to your account and you have no idea where they are from.

Now, I can tell you..anything to do with diets online is a scam either way. Even if they sent the "trial", it would have done nothing...as if it really was any good, they would not have to operate in this fashion. They just want to scam you out of the 87 bucks..they are not depending on any long term "satisfied" customers to stay in business.

For example, the internet has actually made purchasing safer then ever, if you know how to use it. Years ago..suckers were ripped off by mail order, this is nothing new. A sucker is born every minute they say. If you were to have done an internet search before submitting any account information..for example "diet max scam" or complaints...the first of MANY reports you would have seen come up are...

Diet Max Cleanse Complaints - Diet Product Scam

Diet Max Complaints - Scam

Diet Max Complaints - UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES ON CREDIT CARD

Well you get the point, I could go on..there were 975,000 results on that search alone.

Now what can you do? Best advice, keep on the company..tell them you are reporting them everywhere, and working with the bank to reverse the charges.

Then, make copies of all the reports you find (including the BBB, I did not check but I imagine they are flooded), and use this with the bank. Tell them this is evidence of fraud, and ask the bank to check this companies charge back rate. Chances are, you will get a full refund..but you have to be prepared, be firm, and persistent.

It is not really fair to try to blame your mistake on the internet. The internet does not control you. It only is an information superhighway and a way to conduct business world wide..but as always, buyer beware.

Good luck with the refund.
